Bean Box Loyalty Program Terms

The Bean Box Loyalty Program (the “Program”) is designed to help you get the most out of being a Bean Box customer (“Customer”). We reward you for shopping for select products on https://beanbox.com (the “Site”), referring friends to https://beanbox.com, and sending us your feedback on coffees. You can use Bean Box Credits (“Credits”) you earn as part of the Program to purchase items from the Site.
The following terms and conditions (“Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions”) contain important information regarding the Program and Credits. Please read the following Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions carefully. These Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions are incorporated into the Site Terms and Conditions. Acceptance of the Site Terms and Conditions includes acceptance of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions. These Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions are a binding agreement between you and Bean Box and will govern your participation in the Program.
Participating in the Program entitles customers to take advantage of certain Program rewards (“Rewards”) that may change from time to time and which may be made available for limited times, as determined by Bean Box in its sole discretion. Bean Box reserves the right to modify these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions at any time, without notice to you, so it is important to check the Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions periodically. Participation in the Program or redemption of Rewards is considered acceptance of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions and any modified terms included therein. Upon notice, Bean Box may, in its sole and absolute discretion, cancel, change, suspend or modify any aspect of the Program or any Program Reward at any time, including the availability of any Program Reward. The Program is only available via https://beanbox.com and does not apply to purchases made from partners who sell Bean Box products.
EARNING BEAN BOX CREDITS
Once you become a customer, you can begin earning Bean Box Credits (“Credits”) in the following ways:
Shop: Every time you make a qualifying purchase from our Site, you earn 5% of the product subtotal (excluding taxes, shipping charges and other fees) in Credits. Qualifying purchases must be paid for without redeeming any previously earned Credits or Gift Certificates, and are limited to on-site, in-app, or via-sms purchases. Qualifying purchases explicitly do not include future recurring charges for subscription product renewals.
Refer Friends: Earn 5 Credits for every friend who becomes a Bean Box customer. Your friends will save $5 on their first purchase on https://beanbox.com.
Write Reviews: Love a coffee? Share with us and other customers by reviewing any of the coffees you've tried on our Site. You can earn 1 Credit for every review you write.
BEAN BOX CREDITS REDEMPTION
Credits are redeemable towards purchases on the Site. To redeem Credits, simply add items to your shopping cart, and click the “Check Out” button (if you’re not already signed in, the next screen will prompt you to sign in to your account). Continue through the checkout process. When you get to the Payment section, you’ll see “Bean Box Credit Available”. Type in how many Credits you would like to apply, and the equivalent dollar value will automatically be deducted from your order total. If you have Credits in your account, but not enough to complete the purchase, you will be asked to select another form of payment to cover the remaining balance. Purchases made using redeemed Credits are not eligible for earning new Credits.
Credits are not redeemable for future ongoing payments for recurring subscription products.
BEAN BOX CREDITS LIMITATIONS AND EXPIRATION
Credits are not redeemable for cash and only apply to product purchases on https://beanbox.com. Credits cannot be applied to recurring Subscription charges.
Credits will expire 3 months from the date they were first earned. If Customer does not redeem Credits within this time frame, Customers forfeits all such Credits. Any Credits earned before October 25, 2017, will expire on April 25, 2018. Your Account page displays your valid Credits balance.
REFUNDS AND RETURNS
Items purchased using a Credits redemption may only be exchanged for a refund of the applicable Credits redeemed for such item (i.e. not for cash or credit against another payment method). Credits earned via credit card transaction purchases on the Site will be rescinded in the event that such purchase is returned for a refund.
Rewards may be taxable, depending on the value of the item and the federal, state, and local tax laws applicable to Customers. Customers are solely responsible for reporting such items on their tax returns and paying any associated tax liability. Customers may not assign or transfer any Rewards, including Credits. Bean Box makes no warranty in any respect as to any Rewards, merchandise or service available within the Program.
Bean Box may, in its sole and absolute discretion, cancel, change, suspend, or modify any aspect of the Program and/or any Reward at any time, including the availability of any Reward. Bean Box may, in its sole and absolute discretion, terminate or suspend any Customer’s participation in the Program for breach of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions, or for taking any actions that are inconsistent with the intent of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions. Bean Box reserves the right at its sole discretion to prohibit any Customer from participating in any aspect of the Program if Bean Box deems or suspects that such Member has engaged in or has attempted to engage in any of the following: (a) acting in violation of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions; or (b) damaging, tampering with or corrupting the operation of the Program or Site; or (c) acting with intent to annoy, harass or abuse any other person; or (d) any inappropriate, uncooperative, disruptive, fraudulent, potentially fraudulent, or unusual behavior or activity; or (e) activity deemed in the sole discretion of Bean Box to be generally inconsistent with the intended operation of the Program. Any decision Bean Box makes relating to termination or suspension of any Customer’s participation in the Program shall be final and binding in all respects. Bean Box shall be the sole determiner in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, or breach of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions or intent of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions.
Except for willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of Bean Box, by participating in the Program, Customers release Bean Box, suppliers, advertising and promotions agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense, including, without limitation, property damages, personal injury and/or death, arising out of or in any way connected to the Program or the use of any Rewards.
Customers who elect to participate in this program agree to indemnify, defend and hold Bean Box and its representatives and agents harmless from and against any and all third party claims, demands, liabilities, costs or expenses, including attorney’s fees and costs, arising from, or related to any breach by Member of any of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions or any violation by Customer of applicable law.
