"Worst coffee ever received from Bean Box. It was sent to us by mistake. We usually like Medium and
dark roasts and this is a
light roast. Nevertheless, we decided to try it. We use a very good burr grinder, and a 'top of the line" Breville coffee maker. Technically, it is a "drip" coffee maker, but it blooms the coffee grounds 1st, brews at the perfect brewing temperature and the stainless steel carafe does not rest on a warmer/burner. In other words, best possible way to grind the beans and to brew a full pot of coffee. But nothing helped this coffee!! It was bitter and acidic, with no tasting notes because bitter and acid and basic coffee taste were the only "flavors" that came through. We even tried using 2x the milk and half & half we normally put in our cups. And black, it was truly undrinkable. Seriously no better than the Folgers and Maxwell House pre-ground crud. If you like well-balanced coffees with good flavor and interesting undertones. Stay away from this!"
