Grown on the slopes of Central American's highest mountain range, the "place of the parrot hunters", these Organic, Fair Trade beans come from a small growers’ coop known for producing some of the best quality coffee out of Guatemala.
We're in love with the decadent flavor profile of this medium roast, bold and satisfying, toasty without a hint of bitter. The black cherry keeps it round, and the chocolate keeps it rich.
How much do we love Cuchumatanes? We're "cooing" over it.
||★★★★★||★★★★★ Brewed coffee traditionally in ninja and was not a favorite|
||★★★★★||★★★★★ Prepared with an aeropress, I didn't quite get the cherry/pudding roundness expected, but the coffee was still nice and smooth, with tea-like notes, without being too light.|
||★★★★★||★★★★★ I just got this coffee because of the name, but ended up loving it! This espresso had a beautiful crema and I definitely picked up on the dark cherry and brown sugar notes!|
||★★★★★||★★★★★ The first time I made this I only used a splash of half and half and it was pretty strong for my liking. The second time I made it with hazelnut creamer and I enjoyed the flavor much better.|
||★★★★★||★★★★★ It is very bold but not the best out of the 4 I received. To me, I didn't taste any of the dark cherry, chocolate pudding, or brown sugar. When I poured the remaining grounds out of my press, I definitely smelled brown sugar, but to me, it just tasted like any other dark roast.|
||★★★★★||★★★★★ Blissfully good! Beautiful aroma, very smooth, great blend of subtle sweet notes. My new favorite.|
||★★★★★||★★★★★ Smooth and sweet. I couldn't taste the cherry, but it was good.|
