Curator's Notes
Sweet, smooth, and savory, this coffee was grown in the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. You’ll taste a rich, honey-like body, with a layered profile of fruit and a spicy, herbal finish. Gonna take a lot to take us away from this brew...
Roaster's Notes
Super round and soft bodied coffee with bright notes of raspberry, orange zest, and sweet cherry tomato. Finish is savory and herbal with a hint of Fernet Branca. Mlama farm is located on a Mesa at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro, situated at 1380 masl, the highest elevation allowed for cultivation by the Tanzanian government. Primary drying is sun, followed by slack combustion for final moisture leveling. Bourbon and Kent varietals. Rainforest Alliance and Utz certifications.
