House blend? This time of year you want a *haunted* house blend! Request Line Blend, a rich and smoky seasonal favorite, is the signature dark blend for Broadcast Coffee, one of Seattle’s hippest local cafe chains. In this cup, a body of deep, dark chocolate stays robust, and a hint of smoke keeps the flavors edgy and distinct. Request Line was created, by popular request, for Seattle cafe customers who wanted a rich and toasty dark roast they could really groove to.
This particular blend of Brazil and Colombia goes together like magic: smooth and edgy, with flavors that stay clean. While brewing, you can smell notes of black cherry. In the brew, we taste the malt-like complexity of dark stout beer with a backbone of rich dark cocoa, and a nice herbal acidity in the finish. As the cup cools, a hint of smoky sea salt brings it all together in a distinctly "Seattle" way: a small touch of the gourmet.
Don’t say boo-- say brew! Reserve a bag of Request Line, a lush and smoky artisan dark roast, and fill your kitchen with one of our favorite *haunted* house blends. With Request Line in your mug, there’s no reason to be scared of the dark… unless you run out of coffee, that is.

||★★★★★||★★★★★ Very flavorful cup of coffee. Made it both in the french press and with a pourover. I didn't get as much dark chocolate as the experts did, but it had a lovely body and mouth-feel. Was great when made in the chemex.|
||★★★★★||★★★★★ Enjoyable dark bean. Definitely taste the dark cocoa.|

||★★★★★||★★★★★ I'm not sure I tasted the malt, but this is a new fav for sure. Goes well on a Sunday morning!|
||★★★★★||★★★★★ cocoa and smokey notes come through the dark blend, with a bit of a bite at the end. Made in french press a d drank black, would definitely stand up to milk.|
||★★★★★||★★★★★ I made this hot in my french press in the morning, and man, I did not like it at all. I knew when I smelled it that it would be too acidic and I was right! It was too much for me. Like the taste notes say, it definitely is flavorful but for me it wasn't easy to drink and it made my stomach uneasy.|
||★★★★★||★★★★★ Well-done for a basic dark roast. Smokey, but balanced. This is a coffee- drinker’s coffee: no frills.|
Andy Duncan Thompson
