Curator's Notes
This Cinco de Mayo, get ready to fiesta with our latest barrel-aged coffee! Our Bourbon Barrel-Aged Mexico is a super-limited roast, made exclusively for us, and only available for a short time. To make this coffee, we paired a nutty-caramel Mexico from Middlefork Roasters with the sugary, spicy notes from 2bar Spirit’s bourbon barrel. After aging for two weeks, the resulting beans contain no alcohol, but you’ll taste smooth, creamy notes of bourbon, sweet almond praline, vanilla flan, and a hint of citrus zest in every sip. It’s perfect by itself, or dive into the spirit (ha!) with a modified Café de Olla: just add brown sugar and a cinnamon stick.
