Curator's Notes
Did someone cut the lights? Klatch Coffee’s French Roast is their darkest offering yet: a nuanced take on the classic French roast. There's no stumbling in the dark with this coffee — we find distinct notes of thick molasses, balanced by rich flavors of smoky-sweet molten chocolate cake. This is a bold, well-developed coffee that can shine through cream and sugar.
Roaster's Notes
French Roast is our darkest roast! Features a blend of selective Central and South America, strictly hard bean coffees specially selected to handle the dark roast without losing their flavor. We find a surprising amount of sweetness, balanced with the pleasant bitterness that French Roasts are known for. Creamy and even, deep and breathy, this coffee is complex yet comforting.
