Fire up the presses! The French presses, we mean. Batdorf and Bronson’s Holiday Blend is an annual holiday card for dark coffee lovers. This blend combines medium- and dark-roasted beans from Guatemala, Colombia, and Brazil for a satisfying sheen of oil and a balanced profile of toasty and bright. A dark sweetness like black cherries adds a twinkle of complexity to a rich, dark chocolate body, and the finish is capped with a generous sprinkle of warm spice, nutmeg and cinnamon. This donut-dunking, holiday cookie companion is delicious black, with cream, or made into an after-dinner cocktail.

Roaster's Notes

A special coffee blend is like a resounding symphony of tastes. It showcases individual performances, while harmonizing all its components to create an overall masterpiece. This year’s Holiday Blend will please you with just such a display of artistry and refinement. Additionally, we have decided once again to focus on some of our long- term relationships by using both Finca “El Valle” from the Gonzalez family and Finca “Los Placeres” from the Mierisch family. In the spirit of family and tradition, using these coffees and sharing during this festive time of year is our pleasure Sometimes results are indeed greater than the sum of the parts. We feel we have done just that with this year’s Holiday Blend. Central American coffees from distinct origins and terroirs are showcased in this sweet and delectable treat. After adding some exotic coffees for “spice,” we once again feel we have created a special seasonal offering perfect for before and after meals. This blend showcases flavors of chocolate and dried fruit with a twist of nutmeg. The result? Festive and bright, like the season.
