We liked this one quite a lot. It was lightly acidic (especially for a light roast), pleasantly floral'>floral, and it hits the tongue and then spreads throughout the mouth.
This surprised because it has a lot of characteristics typical of darker roasts. The beans ground very easily and consistently (I have a 1zpresso JX manual hand grinder). The texture was velvety. I tasted cherries and chocolate, almost like a white chocolate covered cherry dusted with cocao powder, with a lingering hint of sweet peach aftertaste.
Brewed in my french press. A nice smooth medium roast coffee with a bite; tart notes.
The coffee was really good comparable to store bought but this wouldn’t be my first choice. I think trying different coffees from beanbox would be best.
Acidic and fruity in the best way! Delicious from top to bottom.
Pleasant taste but not as good as Crossfade Blend from the same roasters.
