When our friends at Boon Boona, the Seattle-based roaster specializing in East African coffees, told us they were formulating a dark roast for autumn, we started counting down the days – and the wait is finally over! Boon Boona’s Jebena Blend is roasty, yet balanced: a medium-dark blend of Ethiopian and Ugandan beans with a full, chocolaty body, a dash of nutmeg, and a lingering sweetness like a shot of caramel syrup pooling at the bottom of your mug.
