Devoción was founded by Colombian-born Steven Sutton in 2006 with one obsession: freshness. Not just fresh-roasted, but fresh from origin. By controlling every step of the process, from hand-selecting among 1,000+ farm partners in Colombia, to dry-milling at their own Bogotá facility, to roasting in Brooklyn, Devoción gets their beans from farm to cup in as little as 10 days. No middlemen, no months-old coffee sitting in a shipping container. The difference is immediately, unmistakably apparent in the cup: richer cacao notes, more vibrant fruit, and a clarity that stops you mid-sip. Steven is equally committed to investing back into the Colombian communities he sources from, including his hometown of Medellín.
