Curator's Notes
This roast comes from Uganda's southwestern Rwenzori range, also known as the "mountains of the moon": the legendary origin of the Nile River. On the other side of the mountains is Congo's Kivu growing region. Ugandan coffee shares many characteristics with Congo coffee, with a lush, silky body and clean notes of chocolate, raisin, and stone fruit or berry jam. In this cup, smooth, earthy chocolate meets mixed berries and a clean, citrus zest finish.
