We go bananas over this vibrant blend of east African coffees. As a pour over, this cup is soft and mellow, with playful fruit-smoothie flavors and a subtle honeyed banana finish. As espresso, expect an adventurous shot with pizzazz!

"Too light for me with it's brightness and tea like hints. But was an interesting new one."

"Decided to try a second bag. Although seemingly just a little thin the cup was a good offset to a stronger first different type of roast I had. I believe Kuma has made a great coffee for introducing friends to coffee here. Also looking forward to trying as a cold brew. No real strong berry notes here."

"Excellent coffee ☕️. Smooth, very drinkable. Have not picked up strong berry flavors yet. Will check again tomorrow!"

"I love light to medium roasts, and this one is a wonderful light roast. Very bright, faintly sweet, with a nice, tangy flavor. No bitterness from the brew, but if you use too much milk it does muddy the flavors a bit. With this one it's best to let the bean's natural flavors shine through with just a bit of sugar and as little milk or cream as you can tolerate."

"Delicious and juicy coffee. The flavor isn't as robust as I prefer so I will have to try decreasing the grind size and see how it turns out. [clever, 208d, Baratza Encore 18, 24 g] "

"Brewed this in a chemex as well as an aeropress and it was delicious every way. "

"Much too light for steamed milk. Would not recommend for espresso drinks."

"I have been wanting to try more light roast beans and this was my first try. It is fruity and refreshing. Definitely works well for summer season."

"We love the refreshing flavor of this coffee. We usually go for dark roasts with a bold coffee flavor, and this light roast really surprised us!"

"For beans advertised as bursting with tropical fruit flavor (a favorite of mine), I could not brew a cup that had anything but the most subtle hint of citrus. Most cups were on the thin side. This isn't to say this was a bad cup of coffee. Overall, I found the brewed coffee very delicate and clean, just uninspiring. This does claim to be best for espresso and I only tried it with a Kalita drip, aeropress, and an Moccamaster autodrip. Results with these methods were similar, so maybe they just don't let the beans truly shine?"
