When Maine, True North's owner and roaster, told us about this coffee, we couldn't wait to try it! It's a beauty from the beans up. Grown in the picturesque Valle de Cauca, Colombia, this coffee is the product of two siblings following in their grandparents' footsteps as coffee growers: their farm has been producing coffee since the 1930s. The brothers differentiate their farm through environmental oversight: their processing mills are designed to reduce water and fuel consumption, and the farm prides itself on its initiatives towards gender equality, fair wages, and educational opportunities for workers and their families.
