Curator's Notes

Our bourbon-barrel coffee is back as a special Father's Day treat! Inspired by the classic cocktail, the medium roast Bourbon Barrel-Aged Guatemalan is reminiscent of a rich, refreshing Bourbon Cola. We’re toasting to this cup’s smooth body and notes of caramel and toasted nuts. Mellow tones of red fruit linger in the background, adding a cherry garnish to the bourbon-wrapped flavors. You’ve never tasted a Guatemalan coffee like this before!

Roaster's Notes

For three generations they've grown coffee in the highlands of Huehuetenango, and in the past twenty years they've grown to partner with other producing families, cooperatives and associations across Guatemala. Their mission is connecting these beautiful families and their coffees with roasters around the world. These farms have produced up to 88+ COE submissions. Alma's QC team based in Guatemala is meticulously selecting for a consistent, clean, and lightly fruity blend. La Alma means the Soul, in hope this blend will bring vitality and warmth to consumers.
