Curator's Notes

Austin is officially in the house! We’re so excited to introduce our newest partner, Little City Coffee Roasters, who have been doing their thing in Austin, Texas since 1993. I’m especially loving their exclusive Brazil Fazenda Esperança fermented natural, with notes of syrupy pineapple juice, caramel, honey, and raspberry pop rocks. Little City, BIG flavor, amirite??

Roaster's Notes

This natural microlot from award-winning “coffee maker” Deyvid Oliveira Leandro underwent extended fermentation and careful slow drying in order to bring out an array of unique flavors. It is bright and lively, full of ripe berry and tropical fruit notes with a tinge of red wine acidity and a smooth, refreshing finish. A true testament to how a coffee in the hands of a skilled processing professional can transform from something common into something entirely unexpected.

"Great coffee. Loved it!"

"The coffee is unlike any I have had previously. I’ve only tried a few light roasts, and wasn’t impressed. This really does live up to the claims of other light roasts that don’t deliver. So, it’s a lighter, fruit forward sweeter taste without the usual astringent bitterness I’ve experienced before. It retains all the smoothness of medium to medium dark roasts but with much lighter tasting notes. Totally different flavors, but still some darker coffee notes. It’s darn good and very drinkable. "

"Pineapple? In coffee? Who would have thought this would be a winner. "
