Roaster's Notes
Anzá sits high in western Antioquia, where cooler temperatures and steep terrain push coffee to develop slowly and pack in more sweetness. Arnulfo Caro and his wife Martha Cartagena farm Chiroso at 2,100 meters on Finca Hoyo Rico, and the altitude shows in the cup. Ripe honeydew melon up front, a cool mint note through the middle, and bright pineapple acidity that keeps things moving. The body is silky and clean, with a tropical finish that sticks around longer than you'd expect from a washed coffee. This one rewards attention.
