Curator's Notes
Everything is peachy with this coffee! Its sweet, juicy notes take us to warm afternoons spent simmering fresh peaches into rich, jammy preserves. Ethiopia Aricha will always have a place in our pantry while it's around.
Roaster's Notes
The Aricha washing station has been supplying us with top tier stunning coffees for several years now. Harvested from the Naga Singage mountain looming over Aricha, this lot is what we know and love about Yirgacheffe coffees. Sugared, clean and focused, this lot has notes of peach preserves, rose hip aromatics and a lemon-lime acidity. Real talk: Fresh crop Ethiopian coffees are mostly stuck at port or worse haven't left Ethiopia yet. A handful of lots have gotten through, including this one we booked with Trabocca Importers. Ethiopian coffees are a tentpole origin for us at Kuma, we love them dearly and they are always among our best sellers. We are actively working to get our contracted coffees landed and safe in our green room, but it's tough out there for the whole supply chain.
