Hark! Let’s brew something dark! Like the longest night of the year, the flavor in this blend lasts and lasts. It opens with the sweet aroma of spicy Aztec chocolate, leading into full notes of walnuts, cacao nib, and a warm woodsiness-- frankincense, maybe? Creamy, lasting finish like dark chocolate fudge, or a rich stout beer. The dark that dreams are made of.
Roaster's Notes
2018 is our fifth edition of Winter Solstice, and we think it's our best yet! Seriously deep and full-bodied, with spicy herbal notes and a round, pleasing aftertaste of roasted walnuts and dark chocolate. It is a dense and complex coffee blend enjoyable in a French Press, pourover or high quality automatic drip maker like the Moccamaster.
