Pretty good coffee. Smooth. Definitely taste what an average Joe would think of good coffee.
Brewed as french press
per recommendation, lovely smooth, dense cup of coffee.
Full bodied coffee great for starting the morning.
Dark and earthy is an accurate description. We ground this the day before and was still strong.
Nice and dark. Couldn't taste much of the chocolate
, but it was smooth.
Very good earthy flavor. Recommend if you like earthy dark roast
Not my favorite Sumatra roast. It was a little too dark for my taste. Also, didn't really taste much chocolate
Definitely earthy, kind of forgettable. A decent cup of coffee but nothing to write home about.
I enjoyed this coffee out of four coffee I tried from the subscription box. It has nice aroma. I want to drink it again!

This coffee is best enjoyed without cream. I am an adamant cream user so that is saying alot. Flavor is smooth and full but creamer tends to cover it up.
Specific Sumatra smell, taste is good and strong with notes of dark chocolate
. Everyone who loves Sumatra needs to try! Good for french press
and for Moka pot.
Low acidity, smooth and rich, great classic taste for morning brew.
Nothing special. Tastes over-roasted and a bit smoky
. There is a slight woody after-taste. It's very basic office carafe coffee.
Chocolaty, spicy, caffeine rush. Overall, a decent cup of coffee. Just not my favorite.
well balanced and low in acidity. I especially like the smooth finish!
Classic, straight up Sumatra. It's the only type I can drink black!
Definitely a good Sumatra. smoky
and a tiny bit of spice as the notes say. Very, very earthy. I did not like the earthiness but my hubby did.
Tastes like a classic, dark, smokey Sumatra. Good quality. We used our AreoPress, but I'm sure a french press
would be great too.
Delicious!! Would definitely buy on my own! Could be a breakfast regular.
finish that is a bit astringent with a syrupy mouth feel. I drank this as espresso
Honestly taste like I went to Starbucks and got Sumatra. No special notes or scents in this bag.
ISumatra coffee isn’t my favorite. This was no exception. Too smoky
I little too bitter for me, but I could certainly taste the chocolate
. A little more sweetener than I usually use, and it was a pleasant cup of coffee.
I'm preferential to Sumatra's so this was an easy call! It's delicious and earthy and rich and bold all at once!
Dark, slightly bitter, full flavored, and a little earthy. Smell the dark chocolate
when opening and grinding. Nothing earth shattering about this one. Wife and I enjoyed it, however nothing that stood out compared other Sumatra coffees we have had.
We brewed it in a french press
like it was recommended in the bag and we preferred like that instead of an espresso
americano that we usually brew
I found this to make a great cup of coffee. No extra effort needed, just brew away and enjoy! Definitely on my reorder list.
Pretty good. Not as dark as I'd like for a Sumatra, but still nice and tasty.
When I saw the coffees that came in this month's box, I didn't expect this one to be my favorite, but I ended up thinking it was excellent.
This is a very robust coffee. The Sumatra is deep and too bitter for me. I'm more of a light to medium roast
fan. Beans are somewhat oil, but definitely a great choice if you love dark brew!
Nice blend. Makes a dense and robust cup of coffee. Highly recommend!
I found this to be slightly bitter and did not pick up on the chocolate
taste as others have mentioned.
Dark and roasty without being bitter count me in... Sumatra was the first kinda dark roast
I actually got into and this is like next level Sumatra. chocolate
and smokey deliciousness
Mondays can be hard, this coffee makes it better. Fonte Coffee consistently hits it out of the park. This is great for a morning coffee on the go. Strong but not bitter. Definitely chocolate
aftertaste which I enjoy.
This coffee reminds me of early morning by the sea. I love the bold flavor. I used entire sample bag with a medium-fine grind in a pour-over with 3.5 cups of water.
This is my third coffee and my favorite so far. I like be the bold taste and the hint of chocolate
. Very smooth. Not bitter or overpowering. I served it to a group of friends and they all really enjoyed it too so this would be a good one for guests or gifts.
One of my favorites I've received. I love darker roasts and this one was smooth and bold without being the slightest bit bitter. Great coffee.
Usually not a fan of sumatras, tried this in a french press
and well we were im'pressed'! Still not sold on it as it's Sumatra, however it was not too dark and had a smoother earthy tone finish without all the bitter and the chocolate
flavor was nice.
You can never go wrong with a Sumatra. One of my favorite coffees.
Sumatra coffee is one of my all time favorite coffees, no matter the brand. Anything (usually) with the name Sumatra in it really catches my interest. This does that as well. I love Fonte's Sumatra and would even purchase a full bag of it over and over. Great Coffee!
Very good Sumatra blend. Love the up front chocolate
notes. Would definitley give this a try. One of my favorites.
Great smooth, rich, deep coffee. Very good used with french press
. dark roast
but still mild. Fonte produces very good coffee overall.
This coffee is great. My family really enjoyed the sweet chocolate
love the smooth chocolate
undertones. No bitterness
Very rich, strong coffee flavor with a bit of an afterbite. The aroma is underwhelming, but you can get a hint of chocolate
in it. If you like carmel creamer, it brings the chocolate
taste out and soothes the bitterness of the sumatra origin.
This is absolutely delicious. I use a Melitta pourover
cone and am curious as to how it would be in an aeropress
. I can definitely see ordering this one again.
