If you're eager for an early taste of springtime, our friends at Cloud City Coffee have just the ticket. First Bloom is their newest blend, a combination of beans from Mexico, Burundi, and Indonesia, for a light roast that evokes all the pleasures of a sunny springtime day. Flavors are playful and tangy, like strawberry jam and marmalade swirled upon a base of almond cake and cacao nib. Juicy, medium body, like fruit punch, with breezy floral notes throughout, popping up like the first buds of the warm season. Finish with a hint of grapefruit and a nougat-like, almond-butter richness. What could be better to help you "spring ahead" into your day?

This was a top favorite this month! Lots of good, different flavors!
Smells good. It taste fresh and fruity. I added unflavored oat milk. It’s a smooth coffee.
Just not for me. Takes more beans than normal to get a good brew. Does not leave me wanting more.
Very acidic. A bit of strawberry-like fruit when first brewed, but when it cools down a bit, just abrasive acidity. I don’t care for this.
I enjoyed this cup of coffee, but I did have to use a lot more cream than I expected to for a light roast. almond notes were at the forefront of this brew for me, and it seemed a dash bitter.
Best with steamed frosty milk. Not a lot of crema using espresso process.
