A standout delight, with an exceptionally cozy blend of flavor pairings: savory toffee, delicate peach tea, sweet cherry scone. The perfect cup for crisp winter mornings, when you want your palate to help wake you into the coming day.
Honduras Gerardo Trejo, whose family-run farm is situated in the volcanic Santa Barbara mountain range surrounding the stunning Lake Yojoa. The micro-climate formed by the large lake and steep volcanic peaks create a prime climate for growing coffee. This micro-climate, combined with Gerardo’s skill and sustainable farming practices led to a bumper crop this year, despite production being down around 50% in Honduras due to frost. This coffee is delicate, balanced and juicy with notes of ripe cherry, peach and toffee. Some fragrant floral notes appear as well, like orange blossom and jasmine.
"Light and balanced, almost tea-like and floral. Pretty good!"
"Nice balanced taste, background fruity flavor with a smooth finish. Very enjoyable coffee, I might grab a bag before it is gone for the season."
"Nicely balanced, complex and nuanced flavors. A really pleasant cup with toffee-ish base and a long floral finish. "
"I was hoping for so much more, but the floral notes leave it bitter tasting"
