Curator's Notes

A standout delight, with an exceptionally cozy blend of flavor pairings: savory toffee, delicate peach tea, sweet cherry scone. The perfect cup for crisp winter mornings, when you want your palate to help wake you into the coming day.

Roaster's Notes

Honduras Gerardo Trejo, whose family-run farm is situated in the volcanic Santa Barbara mountain range surrounding the stunning Lake Yojoa. The micro-climate formed by the large lake and steep volcanic peaks create a prime climate for growing coffee. This micro-climate, combined with Gerardo’s skill and sustainable farming practices led to a bumper crop this year, despite production being down around 50% in Honduras due to frost. This coffee is delicate, balanced and juicy with notes of ripe cherry, peach and toffee. Some fragrant floral notes appear as well, like orange blossom and jasmine.

"A very enjoyable cup of coffee. Brewed with chemex and Kalita I was able to pick out peach, apricot, cherry and tomato flavors. Complex, juicy and an overall very pleasing cup."

"I guess I have a thing for light roasts and this one is no different. Black tea, fruit, and floral notes dominate the flavor on this coffee. I will definitely order this coffee again."

"I was hoping for so much more, but the floral notes leave it bitter tasting"
