Curator's Notes

Narino is special for its number of small coffee farms, many less than 3 acres in size. This juicy cup is a mix of the best beans from many small farms: a true sip of Colombian coffee romance.

Roaster's Notes

Washed beans from the Narino region, grown 1800 to 2050 masl. Varietals include Castilla, Caturra, and Colombia. Notes of dark chocolate, caramel, and cherry with a long, sweet finish.

"I tried this roast with a pour over. I really enjoyed it. It wasn't a typical light roast and the chocolate notes came through more than the fruity notes."

"This was one of my favorites in the sampler I had. Although it's a light roast, it tastes more on the medium side to me. Loved it."
MAIJA 05/01/2017

"For being a light roast it was also very full. It had a grassy, not-unpleasantly acidic taste, but a little strong for my preference. It isn't too sweet overall but the finish is definitely the sweetest taste (it's pretty strong). The chocolate taste comes more in the aftertaste. Made with a moka."

"Brewed for 4-5 minutes in french press. Very light grassy tasting coffee with a Britney wine like taste. Not a bad coffee, but definitely not a favorite. Broadcast coffee roasters is a great coffee roaster, this was not the best that we have had."

"Served Black via aeropress: I've got a conduit near my house and I find their espresso roasts to be atomically bright. This roast was great, it definitely had a brightness to it but was complemented with a carmel-y fullness. Quite tasty."
