Curator's Notes
This sweet yet bold roast comes from a co-op in Nariño, high within the Andes mountains. You’ll taste a light tumble of cherry and citrus in the front of this cup, with a backbone of toasted nuts and rich cocoa. A classic fruit-fondue Colombian.
Roaster's Notes
Cafe Occidente is a parent coop with over 40 years of building trust in the coffee sector of Narino, Colombia. Our specific lot comes from Duarte Bajo collective in La Florida Narino. Consistent rainfall, lush vegetation, consistent year round sunlight, high elevation, and mineral rich soil are all ideal coffee growing conditions. Notes of citrus and almond.
