It’s back for the third year in a row! Bluebeard Coffee’s sweet, decadent Mexico Guadalupe Miramar is our latest and greatest breakfast indulgence. If you love churros dipped in chocolate, or pancakes topped with maple syrup, you’re going to love this cup. The profile is super rich and decadent, like chocolate pie with a graham cracker crust. We love the clean, uplifting notes of cinnamon-dusted apples, the hint of savory maple syrup, the finish of orange-infused cocoa. It’s a Mexican vacation in a mug, and while it lasts, we just can’t get enough.

Fine Mexican coffee is the white wine of the coffee world: light and delicate, with a buttery caramel roundness and flavors of chocolate and cocoa powder, cinnamon spice, toasted nuts, and clean, gentle acidity. This roast comes from small-holders within the Guadalupe Miramar village of the Santa Maria Yucuhiti municipality, near the large Cañada de Cuicatlan canyon. The canyon and its surrounding valleys create an unique microclimate for growing tropical fruits, avocado, and of course, coffee. Today, Mexico is one of the largest sources in the U.S. for fair trade and sustainably-grown beans. In the Cañada region, a majority of farmers and coffee workers still speak the indigenous language, and grow coffee without pesticides or fertilizers, using age-old methods that protect and support the natural environment.

Wow, Oaxaca! Bluebeard Coffee's spicy-sugary Mexico Guadalupe Miramar will be the churro of your cup, and the apple of your eye. The last time we featured a Mexican coffee like this one, it sold out before we could blink. Don’t wait: reserve your bag today, and enjoy a decadent cup that will take any breakfast (huevos rancheros, anyone?) to the next level.

★★★★★ ★★★★★ Made a pourover of this every afternoon for my family, for about a week. Just a delicious cup of coffee. Definitely get the sweetness. You can substitute this for a piece of chocolate and save the calories.
Mary
★★★★★ ★★★★★ Smooth and light roast. We didn't get the tasting notes, but it would be a good coffee.

★★★★★ ★★★★★ I think if you enjoy light roasts this coffee would be okay, but I personally am not a light roast person. This one was way too bitter for my taste.
Christopher
★★★★★ ★★★★★ A nuanced and balanced medium-light roast of an interesting origin, as described by the tasting notes.
Ivan
★★★★★ ★★★★★ I was disappointed. The roast is super light and I did not sense any of the hints of chocolate, cinnamon, or caramel. I am always curious when I read reviews and they seem to be the exact opposite of my experience; but, I definitely will not order this again and will leave it for company to go.

★★★★★ ★★★★★ Nice nose and smooth flavor. Just strong enough, and no bitterness. Excellent choice for those of us that like a lighter coffee fix.
Larry
★★★★★ ★★★★★ garbage to feed unwary visitors
David
★★★★★ ★★★★★ Delicious complexity of flavor. citrus, bold, chocolate, grain in a sweetish syrupy body.

★★★★★ ★★★★★ Starts out rich and bold. There is a chocolaty, almost syrupy sweetness, followed by a clean, fruity, aftertaste. The flavor lingers on your tongue like a strong dark chocolate.

★★★★★ ★★★★★ I just got this coffee today in my tasting plan. First one we opened. Once my husband smelled the beans he popped one in his mouth and chewed away. Made both of us a cup. He takes his black and I use cream and sugar. This coffee hit all marks for both of it. He pulled crispness and the apple note as it cooled slightly. To me it was like eating a churro dipped in orange infused chocolate. Love it! Will definitely be ordering full bags. Great choice for the tasting plan!
