We've been looking forward to sharing the coffee equivalent of a champagne toast with you. This classic washed Ethiopian coffee is from one of the best kept secrets of Ethiopian growing regions, Worka-Sakaro, a neighbor to the more widely known Yirgacheffe region. This coffee has received honors on the cupping table in the birthplace of coffee and at first taste we were so blown away we added it to our Top Shelf Collection. We're so excited to kick of the year with an exclusive batch reserved just for you.
At first sip, you'll taste an initial burst of sweetness, fruit flavors like orange, peach, and apricot, and a sweet buttery weight like a Chardonnay. Its super clean finish culminates into pleasant florals and earthy black tea. Pour a few beans in your hand and you'll notice they're unusually hard and in impeccable condition. These attributes are a result of the high altitude growing environment and care in processing the coffee cherries. Reserve Ethiopia Worka and let's raise our mugs to seizing the morning!
