Gimme! Coffee started as a small, quality-obsessed espresso bar in Ithaca, New York in 2000, and two decades later has evolved into something even more special: a fully employee-owned cooperative with an award-winning roastery, a from-scratch bakery, and a handful of beloved neighborhood cafes. That cooperative structure isn't just a feel-good detail. It means everyone who roasts, brews, and serves Gimme! coffee has a real stake in making it exceptional. They source through Fair Trade and Direct Trade principles, guarantee a living wage and annual increases to all employees, donate 3% of coffee sales to local nonprofits, and have built one of the most thoughtful supply chain sustainability programs in the Northeast. In the cup, expect distinctive, vibrant, fruit-forward coffees with a community-first soul.

Gimme! Coffee's origins trace back to 2000 when a small, quality-obsessed espresso bar opened in Ithaca, NY. Two decades later, we re-established ourselves as an employee-owned business that boasts an award-winning roastery, a from-scratch bakery and handful of cafes that serve world-class neighborhood coffee. We have a proven history of coffee expertise in supply chain sustainability, coffee preparation standards, and equipment installation and maintenance, but our cooperative structure gives us a renewed sense of meaning to what this coffee thing is all about: economic prosperity from coffee producers to baristas, rooted in sensory and community experiences. Our distinctive coffees are our platform to elevate the standards of hospitality and manufacturing to create meaningful work and ensure that coffee systems thrive. We source through Fairtrade and Direct Trade principles, donate 3% of coffee sales to local non-profits, guarantee a living wage, annual increases and additional benefits to all of our employees, and all our coffees are certified Kosher.
