Curator's Notes
Deep, dark, and delicious, Water Ave's Boxcar Blend does everything but make your bed in the morning. This cup carries notes of toasty dark chocolate, with a scone-like combination of buttery walnuts and earthy, cinnamon spice. A round, balanced finish carries a whiff of sweet tobacco, as faint as the far-off cry of a passing train.
Roaster's Notes
Boxcar is a blend of Central and South American coffees, for a hearty and sophisticated cup that will stand up well on its own or with cream and sugar. This coffee is there for you in the early A.M. when the train horn is just not enough to wake you up. Complex and well rounded, with notes of baker’s chocolate, walnut, sweet tobacco, and cinnamon.
