Curator's Notes

This “white stick”, also the name of a beautifully wispy desert tree, is a sweet, balanced cup: fruity red wine at the front with a mellow almond milk finish. Brew softly, but carry a Palo Blanco!

Roaster's Notes

We're proud to present to you this SHB EP grade coffee grown by Ivan Ovalle Altuve of Finca Palo Blanco in the Huista region of Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Huehuetenango has consistently produced some of the best Guatemalan coffees over the years and this is an excellent representative of what this region has to offer. Extremely well-balanced yet nicely nuanced, it is a coffee that can be appreciated by a diverse audience of coffee drinkers out there.

"Oh my goodness. Hands down, best coffee ever. It's sweet so I shouldn't have added any sugar, but you get little hints and surprises of cherry and raspberry. It was so smooth I enjoyed every sip. I made this 21g beans to about 450g water. Hot or warm, this java rocks."
