Take a walk through the snowy winter woods with Vashon Island Coffee Roasterie’s deliciously dark Holiday Blend. As spicy as a gingerbread cookie, this woodsy, aromatic blend is an Italian roast, which lends a touch of smoky caramel to a profile of spicy dark chocolate. Add a cinnamon stick and a splash of cream, and this mug is the perfect treat to warm up your hands, and spirit, after a trip into your own winter wonderland.
You can’t get more “traditional dark roast” than this: Vashon Island Coffee Roasterie’s founder was selling his beans on the fisherman’s pier as early as 1969! His 25 year old “roasterie” is located on historic Vashon Island, a short ferry ride from Seattle, and many of their coffees draw inspiration from Seattle’s historic, indigenous past. Vashon Roasterie prides themselves on sourcing traditionally-grown, direct trade beans and roasting them in the old-school Seattle style: as big and bold as Mount Rainier, and as dark as our cloudy skies.
Move over, Yule log: this woodsy, spicy holiday blend is all we need to keep warm all winter long. We love the bold Italian roast, and the profile of dark gingerbread, smoky cocoa, and a hint of the wild winter woods. Don’t be left out in the cold: reserve a bag of Vashon Island Coffee Roasterie’s popular Holiday Blend, and enjoy the savory side of the season. After all, the snow is lovely and deep, and you’ve got lots to shovel before you sleep...

||★★★★★||★★★★★ Nothing specific to rave or not about, but it is a robust cup. May try again when it is back in stock!|
||★★★★★||★★★★★ Not my favorite dark roast coffee. My spouse thought it was a decent blend, but I found the aftertaste a bit lacking and not to my liking. While pleasant enough flavor during drinking, the aftertaste would keep me from ordering another bag of these beans. Perhaps this blend is better suited to another method instead of french press.|
