Vashon’s newest Ethiopia is a true delight: sweet notes of dried trail-mix fruits—figs, raisins, cranberries—with a sprinkle of chocolate chips. The aroma of these beans may tempt you to try it by the handful... we still recommend brewing.
This coffee is from family owned farms around the Oromia Coffee Cooperative Union, an umbrella organization established in 1999 to support a sustainable coffee supply. Premiums from coffee exports are returned directly to farmers and also support organic programs.
"I haven't found a coffee I wasn't fond of this light roast is a great Moring starter."
"I already knew I love an Ethiopian Sidamo Coffee, and this one did not disappoint! Bright, complex, and flavorful. Brewed with a pour over"
"Was a little disappointed with this coffee being that it's Ethiopian. Overall flavor was kind of lacking. If I had known, I would've brewed it stronger. Too light bodied for me, but the flavors were good. Brewed french press."
"This coffee grew on me, but it took a minute. The first flavor to I hit me was raisin, and I don’t like raisins so the initial reaction wasn’t great. However, as I drank the coffee I started liking it more as I could taste the chocolate as well. Good hot, not as great iced.m"
