Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you feel like an early bedtime-- either way, this sweet, silky Honduran decaf has got you covered. We love the candied pecan flavor in this light roast— or should we say, this “night light” roast...
This year's Nightcap is a Honduran coffee from the COCAFCAL co-op, which brings together about 80 members-farmers from the Copan area of Honduras. Led by Manager Omar Rodriguez, the co-op has worked to improve both quality and sustainability over the last few years and done both successfully. COCAFCAL has also obtained Fair Trade, Organic and Rainforest Alliance certification all while dramatically improving the flavor of their harvest.
"This is the decaf that I've been waiting for. Perfectly roasted for a balance of sweet and sour. This decaf starts wtih a strong body, lingering on the back of the palette.Great as a pourover. "
"This is a seasonal roast. I now have an Ethiopian single origin decaf that is delicious. Complex, seret and fruity. "
"This made a really nice cup of drip coffee. I got more citrus on the nose, but definitely tasted the roasted pecan flavors. I'd say this tasted more like a 3/5 roast darkness rather than the 2/5 listed on the bag. "
"This is a nice evening coffee. It is mellow but a delicious coffee anytime of the day. Nighttime decaf is a winner. I was introduced to this in a single bag and was very pleasantly surprised. My next order is a full bag and was delighted to find this sample bag of #189 was included in a selection."
