This exclusive coffee was made in partnership with our friends at Middlefork Roasters, pairing their rich, sweet Guatemalan beans with the complex red-fruit notes from a Synne Cellars Merlot red wine barrel. After aging for two weeks, the resulting coffee contains no alcohol, but you’ll taste smooth and syrupy wine-like notes of chocolate covered cherries, boysenberry pie, fresh roasted spices, plus hints of oak and cocoa in every sip. The wine flavor isn’t overpowering, but blends almost effortlessly into the coffee, which is roasted to a nice medium, chocolaty, crowd-pleaser level.
