Curator's Notes
Ladro Roasting’s new Kenya Gakurari AA isn’t your garden-variety Kenya—but it may remind you of your summer garden favorite: fresh heirloom tomatoes. Notes of honey and papaya fill out the flavors of this silky-smooth light roast, and the cup finishes with a delicate, earthy black tea. The sheer amount of sugary flavor in this cup made it an instant hit on our cupping table, and we couldn’t wait to share it with you.
Roaster's Notes
This rich Kenyan coffee comes from Gatunyu Kigio Farmers Cooperative Society, which in 2017 and 2018 received advanced training in the picking and processing of cherries, helping to yield this great result. We are thrilled with this coffee's sweetness and body, ending with a tea-like quality, bringing you back for more.
