Curator's Notes

Kenya? Yes, you Kieni! This is Kenyan coffee the way it’s meant to be: syrupy-sweet, luxuriously rich, intensely fruity. Kuma tells us they haven’t seen Kenyan coffee this good in over 5 years: is that once in a “brew” moon?

Roaster's Notes

This coffee is truly a masterpiece. There are so many fruits in this coffee that range from black currant and peach to mandarin, apple, passionfruit. Kieni is a fruit juice bomb.

"Very sweet and fruity, honestly not my favorite to drink but a very pleasant experience and well done."
ALEXIS 08/21/2018

"I'm a huge fan of African coffees, so it was no surprise that this one was one that I enjoyed very much. There are a lot of light, fruity tastes that it makes for a refreshing cup to enjoy in the morning. "

"This has been one of my favorite coffees from Kuma Coffee. It was very fruity and flavorful but without the acidity that some fruity coffees have. Paired with blueberry-lemon biscotti and brewed in a french press."
DOLPHY 07/27/2018

"The "fruitiness" to me tasted acidic - but it could also be because this was a light roast (and I'm a medium - dark fan). Not exactly my favorite type of coffee; it was interesting to try though!"
