Curator's Notes
This roast comes from JNP coffee, an exporter with a focus on female producers. More than 200 women contributed beans to this lot! Karehe is located just South of Rwanda, and produces rich, creamy coffees with a sweet, dark cherry profile.
Roaster's Notes
JNP Importers underwrites the Burundi chapter of the IWCA, paying women growers directly for their high quality coffee, such as this one. This means more money in the form of premiums for these farmers and their families.
