Curator's Notes
Ejo Heza, “A Beautiful Tomorrow”, is a community of Rwanda’s women growers. This washed coffee is clean and sweet, like fruit-infused tea, with a delicate, crisp finish. If tomorrow is beautiful, it’s because we enjoyed this cup today!
Roaster's Notes
Our latest and greatest Rwandan, this washed bourbon is from the women's arm of the Kopakama co-op, Ejo Heza. Female members hold co-op board positions and collectively own a shared coffee farm in addition to their own individual lots. They pool their coffees and reinvest the proceeds back into the community. Some of their projects include improving water distribution to nearby villages, promotion of sustainable agriculture, and building new washing stations closer to members' farms.
