Curator's Notes

Wow! The first time we offered an anaerobic coffee, it sold out before we could blink — this rare type of coffee doesn’t come along very often. So when our friends at Broadcast told us they’d be releasing a special, limited lot in honor of Pride Month, we jumped at the chance to share an amazing coffee that will inspire you to be Loud and Proud all day long.

Roaster's Notes

$25 retail Pride month is here and we are serving bright and fruity flavors with this Zambia Anaerobic Natural. With tasting notes of Strawberry and Fruity Pebbles this coffee is bright, fun, and surprising. Loud and Proud also helps us raise funds to donate to local Non-Profits that support LGBTQIA+ communities in Seattle and Boise. $3 of every bag sale is directed towards either the Lambert House or The Community Center. Lambert House is a queer youth-focused organization and safe space "which empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth through the development of leadership, social, and life skills." Donations go toward keeping the house running, from purchases of toiletries and paper goods to administrative costs to furniture. Monetary and physical gifts can be made through Lambert House's website, which includes details about employer donation matching! The Community Center offers educational and social programs for Boise's LGBTQIA+ community of all ages. They state that the center "is committed to uniting the LGBT community through educational and developmental programs by providing resources to the LGBT community.” Donations go toward the center's essential needs, from their food pantry to their administrative costs, and more. Monetary and physical gifts can be made through The Community Center's website, which also has volunteer opportunities! https://www.broadcastcoffeeroasters.com/store/p745/Loud_and_Proud.html#/

"The roast was a bit darker than I expected, but I still enjoyed it. I could detect some strawberry in the aftertaste."
