Curator's Notes
As decadent as a bonbon, this lot is a blend from small producers in Antigua’s volcanic valleys. The classic Antiguan cup is syrupy, velvety in texture, with deep chocolate notes and a citrusy caramel acidity that grows ever sweeter as it cools.
Roaster's Notes
This blend is made up many small producer's who have farms on the side of Agua de Volcan at the edge on Antigua. The volcano supplies volcanically rich soil and amazing elevation that provides the fruit with the perfect scenario for building sweetness and complexity. La Merced is a balanced Guatemala that will please all of the coffee drinkers.
