Curator's Notes
Go ahead, jump for La Joya: this cup is a sweet, berry-toned delight from one of Nariño’s top producers. A warm, spicy aroma leads into notes of wild strawberry and ripe plum, with a gentle cherry-hibiscus tea rounding out the finish.
Roaster's Notes
This is our first year working with producer Yermi Pedraza. We were blown away by all of his personal achievements and his passion for his craft. We hope to continue this new relationship for many years to come. He not only runs his farm extremely effectively, but also has a career in engineering. While visiting, we were impressed with how he runs such a meticulous, efficient operation. Instead of drying on patios which is the custom in Colombia, Yermi built raised beds for drying his coffee; this ensures a more even dry and better quality.
