Curator's Notes
Brand new for the season, this honey processed lot comes from the Humure station, a rarity in Rwanda for being woman-run. Honey coffees are known for their silky texture, this one adds a big red fruit sweetness and a dusting of nutmeg.
Roaster's Notes
This is our first selection from a new Rwandan specialist sourcing group SunDog Trading. This coffee is a red bourbon variety and honey processed. It underwent intensive selection to eliminate Potato Defect common to Rwandans and the quality reflects that. It has a silky body, red fruit and cherry flavors along with a medium intensity acidity similar to stone fruits. Great espresso and filtered.
