Curator's Notes
A new personal favorite. This Java is so good it halted the Beanery for a group tasting. We tasted creamy chocolate and cherry swirling in a spicy body. The classic Java spiciness tames the bright notes creating a remarkably flavorful and balanced cup. It's like a chocolate and cherry liquor you can enjoy in the morning (cocktail attire and jazz music not required). Grown on a boutique farm in West Java, and roasted by Vashon Coffee Company, this coffee will spice up your morning.
Roaster's Notes
This coffee comes from small holder farmers in the mountainous region around the beautiful city of Bandung in West Java. Fresh coffee cherries are carefully chosen and pulped in small batches. Fermented overnight and washed clean, the parchment is dried on raised beds in bamboo greenhouses. A truly hand-crafted coffee!
