Curator's Notes
This fully organic microlot comes from a co-op of growers in high-altitude Nariño, most of whom have 1-acre farms. Flavors are smooth and vibrant, with a nice honey-nut sweetness, a squeeze of juicy mandarin orange, and a clean, sugary finish.
Roaster's Notes
We are excited to bring you this organic community blend with a vibrant regional profile from an association called Ecoterra SAS, which has 117 members with small farms in the Department of Nariño. This particular lot comes from producers in the communities of la Union, San Pedro de Cartago, Arboleda and San Lorenzo, who have 1-acre farms. Each producer has their own micro-mill where they carefully harvest cherries, depulp, ferment, wash and gently dry the parchment on raised beds. We get lots of honey sweetness accompanied by nice citric notes and a nice clean finish. We hope you enjoy!
