"i was very happy that the coffee was delivered so quickly. i had written a note to my daughter in law that was not included, and therefore neither she nor my son could figure out where this had come from until i contacted them two days later. i think you might want to consider your target audience with this product/service you are selling. this is not the maxwell house crowd. this is a crowd who really likes coffee and sees a product/service such as yours as a way to have fun, or an adventure. people learn about coffee, and their taste only by trying different things, the same exact way people learn a lot about wine and their true wine preferences. this product/service of yours facilitates, and even expedites this whole experimentation and learning. it was really fun for me to think i was helping these two take a detour outside of portland oregon and giving them a chance to try stuff from all around. i had no idea what they received and i think you might want to fix that. i think when the coffee is sent, a note (email) should go to the sender that might say something like: roaster: 8th and roast, nashville tn; coffee: common voice sunbeam; roast: medium; source: brazil and guatemala. this would very likely lead to phone calls -- actual real live human interaction -- discussing, of all things, coffee. this could not be a bad thing for your business. i was very curious, so i inquired with a phone call, and what ensued was 62 texts about . . . . coffee. i am really looking forward to the next delivery. and by the way, you already have email addresses for all of your "senders." i wish you the very best with your coffee business. i think what you are providing with these samplers is a very important part of learning about coffee, and getting people talking about it. thanks, tom s."
