"Solid #2 bag from Beanbox from open to first brew with pour over. After sitting for 90 mins still good taste Definitely notes of chocolate. Roast could be a touch lighter. Will make an iced version some time this week. Second brew off first grind. Brewed hot poured over ice. .17g of stevia added. Great iced coffee. Just as good as hot. Overall impression, great coffee. Definitely worth being a house coffee. My preference for a kick in the pants. "

"I really enjoyed this Rise & Shine offering. I thought it was dark but not too dark. Holds up well to a little cream or creamer and was smooth. Even as the cup cooled, it was super pleasant to drink and stayed smooth. I like dark roasts though lean into the medium-dark or dark but not French roast. This hit the mark."

"Amazing coffee! I feel like this roast re-calibrated my standards of taste for any other roast/blend from Bean-Box. I think my previous five ratings would easily be a 3, when comparing it to this one. This roast has unique flavors but they are very approachable. The "banana" doesn't necessarily come through for me, however, I think it's meant to describe the notes of warm spices that come through at the end. This is my favorite roast from Greater Goods/Bean Box!"

"I feel like the blend stays true to the description: Intense fruity notes of blueberry and strawberry. The roast brews syrupy, which only intensifies the sweetness of the cup. I didn't get any sour notes and felt that each flavor note came through. Solid cup! It's definitely a fruit flavored roast, so if you are looking for something that has cocoa or chocolate notes, you won't find it here. "

"At a 1:15 coffee/water ratio, using a v60, this blend is a solid, complex cup. You definitely get the vanilla and toffee notes. However, changing the ratio leads to a much weaker, muddled cup. I taste more berry and the cup is not as rich as I would like. If you are into this similar taste profile, I’d suggest Sombra by Devocion. This blend has more distinct and flavorful cup. "
