"My second time purchasing and my absolute favorite espresso beans now. I love how they smell and how a couple extra shots of this espresso really keeps me going. I’m very picky about my coffee and espresso beans."

Additionally, the grind size is far too coarse for espresso extraction. As for the flavor, it is merely average—nothing better than what I could find at a local supermarket"

But one thing that bothered me was I subscribe to Bean Box to make sure that I get freshly roasted coffee beans. But these beans don't have a roast date, but an expiration date instead. So how can you tell that beans are fresh? Well you can't. So unless Vashon Island Roasters start putting a roast date, I don't plan on ordering from them again."

"I give this 4 stars only because I usually don't care for darker roasts, but this was certainly one of the better ones. If you're a fan of the dark roast, you will probably love this! It's definitely one of the better darks I've tried."
