Juan Diego de la Cerda's single-variety coffees are consistently among the top scoring coffees in Guatemala's Cup of Excellence competition. Juan Diego de la Cerda is a third generation coffee farmer whose dedication to single-variety lots and quality processing has resulted in coffees that consistently place in the top-twenty in Cup of Excellence Guatemala—including a win in 2020 and 2023! We were drawn to this yellow bourbon lot for its sweetness and pleasantly round acidity. We taste notes of apricot and other stonefruits balanced out by dark brown sugar.
