Roaster's Notes

Dério Brioschi consistently produces some of the best coffees in Brazil at his farm, Sítio dos Cedros near Venda Nova do Imigrante in the state of Espírito Santo. He is currently growing Catuaí Vermelho, Catucaí 785, Arara, Catucaí-açu, and Gesha varieties and producing fully washed, natural, and pulped natural coffees. This late-harvest offering, a pulped natural Red Catuaí, is intensely sweet and complex with notes of caramel, orange, jasmine and sweet corn, a unique profile that is synonymous with the best coffees from Espírito Santo.

"One of our new favorites. Wonderful nutty flavor, reminiscent of the coffee we used to get at Van De Kamp's cafes in Southern Cal years ago."
