Curator's Notes
Sip coffee, save the Earth: if only it were that simple... But today, it is! In honor of Earth Day (Earth Month?), we're unveiling the delicious Washington Wild Blend, a collaboration between Lighthouse Roasters and the conservation group Washington Wild. Rich, bold, and fruity, this medium-dark mug is a blend of Guatemalan, Honduran, and Natural Ethiopian beans, taken just to the edge of full city roast. The result is a layered cup of fudgy flavor, a big chocolate body with an undercurrent of juicy purple fruit, blueberry and plum. Think, dark chocolate ganache with a jammy center, and a well-developed profile that tastes great by itself or with a generous splash of cream. The best part? For every bag, Lighthouse donates $2.00 to keep Washington State's wilderness areas clean, healthy, and protected. How can you go wrong?
