Curator's Notes

Myanmar has been a coffee-producing country since the 1880s, but only recently able to export its high-quality beans across the world. This cup is lush and smooth, bourbon-like in its complexity of round fruit notes and pleasant, woodsy finish.

Roaster's Notes

This beautiful coffee represents the tireless efforts of the farmers and community of the village of Yay Chan Pyin. Both the climate and the skill of the producers make this area of Myanmar the perfect place to create natural process coffees. The result is a coffee unlike anything you've tasted before. Coffees from Myanmar are unique and one as tasty as this is not to be missed!

"A new favorite. Smooth and robust, a satisfying pour-over."

"I prepare my coffee pour-over style. This one was very flavorful but a bit thin/delicate for pour-over. I'd give it a 4.5 for flavor and a 4 for body. I think it would be perfect in a french press. "

"delicious naturally processed coffee sweet, smooth, fruity. excellent espresso. would like to try it as a pour over. "

"Excellent cup and so glad it's a natural! Brewed in chemex - Balanced and juicy with flavors of light pear and strawberry, almost candy-like. The finish is smooth. Reminds me of being in the middle of redwood or cedar forest! My first Myanmar bean - Thank you for making this happen, Beanbox!!"

★★★★★
"This is a lighter coffee than I would prefer. The cedar is the standout flavor, almost masking anything else. It gives it a defined taste that you'll either love or hate."
